Dr. Andy Kelch

DSOM, LAc

Dr. Kelch is a licensed acupuncturist and practitioner of Chinese herbal medicine in Bend, Oregon. He has experience helping patients through a wide variety of acute and chronic health issues, including digestive, urogenital, and upper respiratory complaints, and he holds a special interest in treating musculoskeletal pain of all kinds, particularly pain of the neck, shoulder, low back, hip, knee, and sciatic region. His thorough approach and diverse treatment strategies allow him to identify and address the root cause of his patient’s complaints, leading to faster, longer-lasting results.

Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, Andy earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he studied Mathematics and Secondary Education. He then spent several years living, working, and playing in the mountains of Colorado, before eventually heeding the call to study Classical Chinese Medicine (CCM) at the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in Portland, Oregon, earning a Doctor of Science in Oriental Medicine (DSOM). His analytical mind and teacher’s heart serve as a foundation from which to apply the ancient art and science of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, helping patients realize and achieve their wellness goals.

Kat M. Lui

MSOM, LAc & IST Practitioner

Kat M. Lui is a licensed acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist who incorporates meditation and somatic bodywork in her practice. She focuses on listening, and providing the tools patients need to manage stress, find clarity, and reconnect to emotional and physical wellbeing. Patient care may include Japanese Meridian Therapy using non-insertive needling, Worsley 5 Element acupuncture, moxa, tuina, shiatsu, sotai, and traditional acupuncture modalities. Chinese herbal formulas, qi gong exercises and clinical nutrition programs are prescribed as needed.

Kat was born in Hong Kong and has spent much of her life in the Western United States. As a wildlife biologist on Maui, Kat worked in the rainforest saving endangered birds. In 2004, she created Malama Wao Akua, a beloved annual art show highlighting Maui’s native species. Before becoming an acupuncturist, Kat engaged in three years of full time meditation practices at the Clairvision School. For the over 12 years, she has helped clients release emotional patterns and access inner freedom through therapeutic meditation (Inner Space Techniques). She is inspired by authentic connection and fueled by curiosity.

Dana Schwartz

Dana Schwartz L.Ac. is a licensed acupuncturist, herbalist, massage therapist, AromaTouch instructor, and essential oil educator.

While she comes from a family of allopathic medical doctors, Dana decided to study and practice medicine that is connected by its roots to nature’s wisdom, with science as its ally. Her love of nature is woven into her wonderment of life in her sessions. She has over 20 years experience with mind/body medicine and is honored to be an integral part of a patient’s care team.

Her areas of focus have been women’s health and healthy aging, psycho-emotional states, anxiety, depression, loss, grief, addiction, fear states, and day to day stress. She also has expertise in orthopedic injury and recovery of back and neck pain, disc injuries, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal conditions, sleep disorders, and psycho- spiritual imbalances.

Patient care may include acupuncture, moxa, cupping, tuina, shiatsu, Chinese herbal formulas, nutritional therapy, gentle breath work, home qigong exercises, cleansing practices and food as medicine programs.
